Our family ticket will allow 4 of you to join one of our group beginner lessons. Valid for one or two adults and the rest of the group of children up to 16 years.

All beginner lessons take place in the bay of the Cove, the area nearest to the shoreline. The bay offers slow moving, knee-high, open-face whitewater waves, which are perfect for beginner surfers to learn, practice and have fun in a safe and controlled environment.

Suitable for: People who have never surfed before or surfers who want to develop and perfect the basics.

Kids October Surf Camp

Lost Shore Kids Surf Camps – October 2025!

Get your kids stoked on surfing at Lost Shore. Our exciting week-long camp (Mon to Fri) is the perfect way for young surfers aged 7 to 16 to build skills, confidence, and a love for the surf environment.

Led by our team of passionate and experienced surf coaches, children will progress from their first pop-ups to riding waves with style, mastering fun tricks and turns along the way.

Spaces are limited – book early to secure your spot! When booking, you only need to select the Monday at the start of each camp to secure your place for every day that week.

Meet us at Lost Shore
Arrival at LSSR reception for 9 am, where you will check into your lesson. We’ll then kit you out with all your gear at the wetsuit desk, then give you directions on where to get changed and meet your coach. Each daily session runs for 1.5 hours, with a combination of on-land and on-water coaching. Pick up at 11.15 am daily.

Through the week
Children learn to handle the surfboards, paddling technique, catching waves and correct surf stance. They work through a structured programme of surf levels so they know how to progress and feel a sense of achievement as they do.

What to bring

Remember to pack your swimsuit and towel. Wetsuits are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

This winter, step into our beautiful twinkling festive space and watch one of your favourite Christmas films here at Lost Shore.

Why not book a table at Canteen, our waterfront restaurant, for some pre or post show food & drink. The wood-fired stove will be lit and you can enjoy mulled drinks, hot chocolates and incredible food, all whilst watching some surfers in action.

Nothing gets you in the mood for Christmas more than a good festive flick!

Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Hilltop - 3 bed lodges

Sleeping 6, our three bedroom luxury lodges are designed for families and groups, and cater for your every need. The stylish interiors, open plan living and modern furnishings make them an ideal retreat to relax after an exciting day at Lost Shore.

Located on the hilltop, our lodges have amazing views overlooking the Cove and our extensive grounds, as well as views across the hills. These fantastic lodges feature a master bedroom with en suite plus two further twin rooms. The hilltop lodges are located 10-15 minutes walk from our car park. If you require more accessible accommodation, we would recommend our waterfront lodges. We have buggies available to help with luggage, however these are subject to availability between 3pm – 8pm.
